India's Ancient Superfood — Now Perfected for Your Baby

Sathumaavu Mix is rooted in generations of South Indian wisdom — a wholesome, multi-grain porridge traditionally made at home to nourish babies from their very first foods. Junior's Nutrition has taken this heritage recipe and elevated it with 17 carefully chosen organic ingredients: millets, whole grains, pulses, nuts, and seeds — all roasted and milled to perfection. No fillers. No additives. Just real food, made with a mother's love.

  • Zero Compromise: No added sugar, no salt, no preservatives, no artificial flavours, no refined additives, no chemicals — exactly as it should be.
  • Ready in 10 Minutes: Dry roast, cook, and serve. Can also be added to chillas, dosas, idlis, upma, and rotis to boost nutrition effortlessly.

1
🔥
Dry Roast
Dry roast 2 tablespoons (30g) of Sathumaavu Mix in a hot pan for 2–3 minutes, stirring continuously until lightly fragrant. This activates the nutrients and improves digestibility.
2
💧
Add Water or Milk
Gradually add 120ml of warm water (or breast milk / formula for babies) to the roasted mix, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. You can also use warm cow's milk for older babies (9+ months).
3
🍲
Cook on Low Flame
Cover and cook on low flame for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the porridge reaches a smooth, creamy consistency suitable for your baby's stage.
4
🥄
Add Ghee & Serve
Add ½ teaspoon of desi ghee and serve warm. For older babies (8+ months), sweeten naturally with mashed banana or a pinch of dates powder for variety.

💡 Tips for Best Results

  • For babies 6 months and older — start with 1 tablespoon (15g) daily and gradually increase to 2–3 tablespoons as appetite grows.
  • Boost daily nutrition by stirring Sathumaavu Mix into chillas, dosas, idlis, upma, and rotis — no extra cooking needed.
  • Always introduce one new food at a time and wait 3–4 days before combining with other new foods.
  • Adjust water quantity for the right consistency — thinner for younger babies (6–8 months), thicker for older babies.
  • Consult your doctor or paediatrician before introducing new foods, especially if your baby has allergies or dietary concerns.
  • Refrigerate after opening and use within one month for best freshness. Do not consume directly from the pack.
