Two Colours. Two Superfoods. One Unstoppable Iron & Immunity Bundle.

The Iron & Immunity Duo pairs Junior's Nutrition's two most vibrant Sathumaavu variants — the naturally green Spinach Mix and the beautifully pink Beetroot Mix — to deliver the most powerful iron and immunity nutrition possible from 6 months. Both share the same trusted 17-ingredient Sathumaavu base of organic millets, grains, pulses, nuts, and seeds. Spinach adds folate, Vitamin K, and iron. Beetroot adds nitrates, betalain antioxidants, and natural folate. Together, they cover every angle of blood health, neural development, and immune resilience.

  • Spinach Mix — The Iron & Folate Green: Real spinach (5%) adds iron, folate, Vitamin K, and lutein to the 17-ingredient Sathumaavu base — supporting haemoglobin, neural connections, and early introduction to leafy greens.
  • Beetroot Mix — The Blood & Immunity Pink: Real beetroot (5%) adds natural nitrates, betalain antioxidants, and folate to the 18-ingredient base — boosting blood flow, brain oxygenation, and cellular immunity with a colour kids love.
  • Zero Compromise on Both: No added sugar, no salt, no preservatives, no artificial colours, no artificial flavours — the green and pink are 100% real, from real vegetables.
🩸
Iron & Healthy Blood
Iron from spinach, ragi, masoor dal, and kulthi dal in the Spinach Mix — plus natural iron and betalain antioxidants from beetroot in the Beetroot Mix — together deliver the most comprehensive iron support available in any baby porridge.
🛡️
Immunity & Cellular Defence
Zinc from pumpkin seeds and cashew, Vitamin E from almonds and sunflower seeds, plus beetroot's betalain antioxidants — combine to build a robust immune defence and protect developing cells from free radical damage.
🧠
Brain, Focus & Neural Connections
Spinach's folate and lutein support synapse formation and early cognitive development. Beetroot's nitrates improve blood flow and brain oxygenation. Together they nourish every aspect of neural growth from 6 months onward.
🦴
Strong Bones & Teeth
Calcium from ragi and khas khas, Vitamin K from spinach, and magnesium from millets and pulses — working synergistically across both mixes to build dense, healthy bones and strong teeth during the most rapid skeletal growth phase.
🌿
Early Vegetable Introduction
Introducing both spinach and beetroot through familiar porridge texture helps babies develop a broad palate for vegetables early — building healthy food preferences that research shows last a lifetime.
Sustained Energy & Digestion
Complex carbohydrates from 6 organic millets and grains provide steady energy, while dietary fibre from pulses, spinach, and beetroot supports smooth digestion and a healthy gut microbiome throughout the day.

① Sathumaavu Spinach Mix — How to Prepare

1
🔥
Dry Roast
Dry roast 2 tablespoons (30g) of Sathumaavu Spinach Mix in a hot pan for 2–3 minutes, stirring continuously. Roasting activates nutrients, removes rawness, and brings out a pleasant nutty-green aroma.
2
💧
Add Water or Milk
Gradually pour 120ml of warm water (or breast milk / formula for babies under 9 months), stirring continuously to prevent lumps. For older babies, warm cow's milk creates a richer, creamier porridge.
3
🍲
Cook on Low Flame
Cover and cook on low flame for 8–10 minutes until smooth and creamy. The natural green colour from spinach will be beautifully visible — a perfect visual cue associating green with nourishment.
4
🥄
Add Ghee & Serve
Finish with ½ teaspoon of desi ghee and serve warm. Ghee enhances absorption of fat-soluble vitamins including Vitamin K from spinach — making every serving even more nutritious.

② Sathumaavu Beetroot Mix — How to Prepare

1
🍳
Dry Roast
Dry roast 2 tablespoons (30g) of Sathumaavu Beetroot Mix in a hot pan for 2–3 minutes, stirring continuously until fragrant. Roasting enhances digestibility and brings out the natural nutty flavour of the millets and pulses.
2
💧
Add Water or Milk
Gradually add 120ml of warm water, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. For a creamier consistency, use warm milk or a mix of milk and water — this also boosts calcium and protein content per serving.
3
🔥
Cook on Low Flame
Cover and cook on the lowest flame for 8–10 minutes until smooth and lump-free. The beautiful pink-purple colour from beetroot deepens as it cooks — kids are naturally drawn to it.
4
🥣
Add Ghee & Serve Warm
Add ½ teaspoon of ghee before serving — this enhances flavour, aids fat-soluble vitamin absorption, and adds essential calories. Also works stirred into chillas, dosas, idlis, upma, and rotis.

💡 Tips for Best Results

  • Alternate between the two mixes across the week — green mornings with Spinach Mix, pink evenings with Beetroot Mix — for maximum nutritional variety and a fun colour routine babies anticipate.
  • For babies 6 months and older — start with 1 tablespoon of each daily and gradually increase to 2–3 tablespoons as appetite grows.
  • Always introduce one product at a time — wait 3–4 days after introducing Spinach Mix before starting Beetroot Mix.
  • Add a tiny squeeze of orange juice or mashed amla to either porridge — Vitamin C dramatically enhances iron absorption from both spinach and ragi.
  • Both mixes can be stirred into chillas, dosas, idli batter, and roti dough — use Spinach Mix for green rotis and Beetroot Mix for pink rotis that kids love.
  • The natural green and pink colours from real spinach and beetroot are 100% safe — no artificial colouring of any kind.
  • Refrigerate both after opening and use within one month. Do not consume the silica gel sachet inside either pack.
  • Always consult your paediatrician before introducing new foods, especially if your baby has known allergies.
Both Sathumaavu Spinach Mix and Sathumaavu Beetroot Mix are suitable from 6 months and above, when babies begin their solid food journey. Start with 1 tablespoon of one product daily and wait 3–4 days before introducing the second. Gradually increase to 2–3 tablespoons of each. Always consult your paediatrician before introducing new foods.
Spinach provides non-haem iron, folate (Vitamin B9), Vitamin K, and lutein — directly supporting haemoglobin production, neural tube development, and eye health. Beetroot provides natural nitrates that improve blood flow and oxygenation, betalain antioxidants that boost cellular immunity, and natural folate for cell division. Together they form a complementary iron and immunity system unmatched by any single ingredient.
Both are 100% real — dried and milled real spinach (5%) in the Spinach Mix and dried real beetroot (5%) in the Beetroot Mix. There is absolutely no artificial colouring, flavouring, or additives. The naturally green and pink colours in the porridge come entirely from real vegetables. This is one of the most important quality distinctions of these products.
No. Neither product contains added sugar, salt, preservatives, artificial flavours, refined additives, or chemicals. Both are 100% whole-food based — the mild natural flavours come entirely from the real vegetables and organic millets and grains. Safe for daily consumption from 6 months.
Both share the same 17-ingredient Sathumaavu base (millets, grains, pulses, nuts, seeds). The Spinach Mix adds real spinach (5%) as the 18th ingredient — delivering iron, folate, Vitamin K, and lutein for neural connections, haemoglobin, and eye health. The Beetroot Mix adds real beetroot (5%) — delivering natural nitrates, betalain antioxidants, and folate for blood flow, brain oxygenation, and cellular immunity. They are nutritionally complementary — each covering what the other doesn't.
Spinach and beetroot provide different phytonutrients that don't overlap. Spinach's lutein and Vitamin K are not found in beetroot. Beetroot's nitrates and betalains are not found in spinach. Alternating between the two across the week gives your baby the broadest possible vegetable nutrition — and research shows that early exposure to diverse colours and flavours significantly improves lifelong food preferences.
Each 250g pack provides approximately 26 servings at 30g per serving. Together, this bundle gives approximately 52 servings — enough for 6–8 weeks of alternating daily feeding for a growing baby starting at 1 tablespoon per day.
Yes — both are incredibly versatile. Stir Spinach Mix into dosa batter for naturally green dosas. Add Beetroot Mix to roti dough or idli batter for naturally pink, visually exciting meals children love. Both can be added to chillas, upma, and soups to invisibly boost nutrition without changing taste significantly.
Yes. Both products contain Nuts & Seeds — Peanuts, Almonds, and Cashew. Both are manufactured in a facility that also processes gluten-containing grains. Please consult your doctor before introducing this bundle if your baby has known food allergies.
We offer a 7-day return policy for unopened products. Please refer to our Refund & Returns Policy for full details.
Age-Stage Nutritional Support

Growing Greener & Pinker —
Month by Month

Based on nutritionist guidance for babies consuming Sathumaavu Spinach Mix and Sathumaavu Beetroot Mix daily as part of a balanced, age-appropriate diet — here's how the combined nutrients support each growth stage.

6M

First Greens, First Colours & Gentle Introduction

Introduce Spinach Mix first — 1 tablespoon thinned with breast milk. Real spinach introduces folate and iron gently alongside easily digestible millets. After 3–4 days, begin Beetroot Mix. The vibrant pink naturally fascinates young babies.

9M

Iron, Neural Connections & Brain Oxygenation

Increase both to 2 tablespoons. Spinach's lutein and folate actively support synaptic development. Beetroot's nitrates improve brain blood flow. Together they fuel the most rapid cognitive growth phase of the first year.

12M

Immunity, Haemoglobin & Active Growth

At 2–3 tablespoons of each daily, the combined iron sources (spinach + ragi + masoor + kulthi dal) and beetroot's betalain antioxidants build robust immunity. Zinc from pumpkin seeds and cashew strengthens cellular defence as babies become mobile.

18M+

Colourful Meals, Green Habits & Lifelong Preferences

Make green rotis with Spinach Mix and pink dosas with Beetroot Mix. Early exposure to these vegetables' distinct flavours builds a lasting preference for healthy greens and root vegetables — a gift of good food habits for life.
