One Ingredient. A World of Nutrition.

Ragi — finger millet — has been India's most trusted baby food for centuries. But Junior's Nutrition takes it a step further: by sprouting the ragi before milling, we unlock significantly higher nutritional bioavailability, reduced anti-nutrients, and a much gentler flour that is easier for babies and young children to digest. The result is the purest, most potent form of ragi you can feed your family — 100% sprouted ragi flour, nothing added, nothing removed. Use it to make porridge, rotis, dosas, smoothies, pancakes, and baked goods. One kitchen essential, infinite meals.

  • Sprouting Unlocks More: Sprouting breaks down phytic acid, dramatically increasing absorption of calcium, iron, zinc, and protein — making every gram more effective than regular ragi flour.
  • 15 Essential Vitamins & Minerals: Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Potassium and more — all from a single, honest ingredient.
  • Completely Gluten-Free: A safe, nutrient-dense wheat alternative for gluten-sensitive children and families seeking cleaner kitchen staples.
⬆️
Enhanced Nutrition & Digestibility
Sprouting activates enzymes that break down anti-nutrients like phytic acid, dramatically improving the absorption of calcium, iron, and protein — making sprouted ragi nutritionally superior to plain ragi flour.
🛡️
Boosts Immunity & Stronger Bones
With 344mg calcium and 137mg magnesium per 100g, Sprouted Ragi Flour delivers one of the highest plant-based calcium profiles available — building dense bones and supporting a robust immune system from infancy.
📏
Supports Growth — Gluten-Free
A naturally gluten-free grain, ragi provides complex carbohydrates, plant protein (7.7g per 100g), and essential B-vitamins that fuel the rapid physical and cognitive development of the first five years.
❤️
Heart Healthy & Blood Sugar Control
High dietary fibre (3.6g per 100g) and a low glycaemic index from complex millets help regulate blood sugar, support cardiovascular health, and maintain steady energy — beneficial for the whole family.
🧠
Brain & Nerve Development
B-vitamins — including B1 (25% RDA), B6 (23% RDA), and B9 — support neurotransmitter production, healthy nerve function, and cognitive development in babies and young children.
🍽️
Infinite Kitchen Versatility
From baby porridge at 6 months to rotis, pancakes, dosas, smoothies, and baked goods for the whole family — Sprouted Ragi Flour is the one kitchen essential that works across every meal and every age.

💡 Tips for Best Results

  • For babies starting at 6 months — begin with a very thin porridge (1 tablespoon per 150ml liquid) and gradually increase quantity and thickness as appetite develops.
  • Always cook ragi flour thoroughly — raw ragi flour should never be consumed and should always be cooked or roasted before eating.
  • Sprouted ragi absorbs water differently from regular ragi — adjust water quantity for your desired dough or porridge consistency.
  • Pair with a source of Vitamin C (amla, lemon, tomatoes) to significantly enhance iron absorption from ragi.
  • Adding a teaspoon of ghee to ragi porridge or rotis improves the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and adds richness and flavour.
  • Store kneaded ragi dough in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use within a few days for best freshness.
Sprouting ragi before milling activates natural enzymes that break down phytic acid — an anti-nutrient that blocks the absorption of calcium, iron, and zinc. Sprouted ragi flour therefore has significantly higher bioavailability of all its minerals, a slightly reduced starch content, improved digestibility, and a gentler impact on the gut. It is nutritionally superior to plain ragi flour in every measurable way.
Sprouted Ragi Flour is suitable from 6 months and above. It is one of the best first foods for babies due to its high calcium and iron content, gentle digestibility, and naturally mild earthy flavour. Start with a thin porridge of 1 tablespoon per 150ml liquid and increase gradually. Always consult your paediatrician before introducing new foods.
Yes. Ragi (finger millet) is naturally gluten-free, making Sprouted Ragi Flour a safe and nutritious wheat alternative for gluten-sensitive children and adults. However, it is processed in a facility that handles other grains — if you have severe coeliac disease, please consult your doctor before use.
Absolutely. Sprouted Ragi Flour is a genuine kitchen staple for the entire family — from 6-month-old babies to grandparents. Use it to make baby porridge, family rotis, dosas, pancakes, smoothies, and baked goods. The same pack nourishes every member at every age.
Yes. Raw ragi flour should always be cooked or roasted before consumption. Whether making porridge, rotis, or pancakes — always ensure the flour is thoroughly cooked. Never consume it raw or add it uncooked to cold drinks.
Ragi contains more calcium than any other plant-based grain — more than milk, weight for weight. It is also rich in iron, magnesium, B-vitamins, and dietary fibre. For generations, Indian families — particularly in South India — have fed ragi porridge to babies as their first solid food because of its unmatched nutritional density, digestibility, and ability to support healthy weight gain and bone development.
No. Sprouted Ragi Flour contains exactly one ingredient: sprouted ragi flour. No sugar, no salt, no preservatives, no artificial flavours, no additives of any kind. Complete purity, complete transparency.
Store in a cool, dry place before opening. After opening, reseal the zip lock and refrigerate. Use within one month of opening. Once ragi dough is made, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use within a few days.
